La Figuera is a co-living initiative started by Francesca Pick & Manel Heredero in April 2021. The idea was born a year earlier, with the working title "The Tree of Life". The house is in a ‘rural-urban place’, a town called 'Caldetas' (Caldes d'Estrac) along the coast north of Barcelona - both outside of the intensity of the city and well connected to it.
The intention of this project is for the house to be a place where people can grow roots and live in a small community. Beyond a home for its residents, it is also a hub for colleagues, friends and family from around the world to socialize, celebrate, create together and work as teams.

La Figuera is in a small town called Caldes d'Estrac on the coast. It is directly reachable from Barcelona in 40-50 min with the R1 trainline, and a 10-15 min walk from the station.
For good real time information on trains, it is recommended to download the mobile app ADIF, as this gives you the most accurate train times.
